Darts sensation: Rene Eidams crowns the tournament champion!

On January 1, 2025, the Lupodarts Winter Masters took place in the Kiersper Dartsverein, a tournament that was held in a varied group and knockout phase. A total of 48 participants played in 12 groups with 4 players each. In the group phase, the "Best-of-9 Legs" mode was played, while the best 32 players in the knockout phase in the "Best-of-11 Legs" mode competed against each other.

The event was very popular, with all six darts being played well and hardly any waiting times were created. The group phase ended around 6.30 p.m., and in the knockout phase, the average of the thrown arrows increased, with the maximum values ​​of up to 90s being achieved. The players showed excellent performance and the tension was noticeable until the end.

The winner of the tournament was Rene Eidam, followed by Hexel in second place and the third -placed Rößler and Menger. The association thanked the guests from Kevelaer, who took part in the event. After the exciting tournament day, the players met in the clubhouse to pursue the Darts World Cup together. The Kiersper Dartsverein emphasized that darts was more than just a sport, because it connects people.

After this tournament, the club will take a break until January 4th to plan new tournaments and series. The Lupodart Winter Masters was not only a sporting success, but also a social event that demonstrated the cohesion and joy of darts, as at other similar events.
