From 7 to May 9, 2025, the best life swimmers in Mönchengladbach will appear at the German championships in Mönchengladbach Rescue swimming an on. A total of around 300 active swimmers are expected per day, including members of the German national team and participants from Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy. These championships also serve as a qualification competition for the World Games, with the aim of presenting the rescue sport in all its diversity.
Nina Holt's success and world records
Nina Holt is not only in the spotlight in Mönchengladbach. At the World Championships of the life swimmer she achieved impressive achievements in Australia. Holt won five gold medals in all six disciplines in which she started. In her competition over 50 meters saved of a doll, she set up a new world record with a time of 33.20 seconds.
In addition, she convinced in the 100 meter -combined rescue exercise, where she also set up a world record with 1: 05.75 minutes. In addition, she won the national best time of 2: 04.31 minutes in the 200 meter swimming and was part of a team that set up a world record in the 4 × 25 meter saving a doll.
