The German national ice hockey team: on title hunt at the Germany Cup!

The German men's national team will take part in Germany Cup 2024, which takes place in Landshut from November 7th to 10th, 2024. This was announced by national coach Harold Kreis during a DEL game. The squad consists of a total of 25 national players, including 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders and 14 strikers.

from the players in the squad have already participated in World Championships, with 6 of them involved in the last World Cup in the Czech Republic. Patrick Hager (Red Bull Munich) is the most experienced player in the team with 152 missions, followed by Yasin Ehliz, who has played 108 international matches so far. Markus Schweiger (Löwen Frankfurt) and Phillip Sinn (Red Bull Salzburg) are the only debutants in the team.

In the squad there are also three Landshut -born: Fabio Wagner (ERC Ingolstadt), Tom Kühnhackl (Adler Mannheim) and Luis Schinko (Grizzlys Wolfsburg). The coaching Staff includes Alexander Sulzer (assistant trainer), André Rankel (assistant trainer), Dennis Endras (goalie coach), Florian Keinz (video coach) and Hendrik Kolbert (athletics coach).
