In an exciting duel, the TuS Friedelsheim seemed to be one step closer to the title when they held two goals lead in the last minute of regular season. But fate should decide differently: A serious injury occurred when goalkeeper Devran was battered and could not continue playing. The TuS coach, Nicolas Wrede, jumped in and took responsibility in the goal. With two parades he prevented the connection goal of the Limburgerhofer.

Despite Wrede's impressive performance, SG Limburgerhof achieved the connecting goal eight seconds before the final whistle, which made the game exciting again.
