In the night from April 22nd to April 23, 2025, a spectacular slump occurred in a clothing store on Kaiserstrasse in Gummersbach. The crime was found at 01:26 when unknown perpetrators violently opened the front door and stole numerous clothes. After the procedure, the perpetrators fled through the pedestrian zone towards Andienungstrasse. During the escape, part of the prey was lost, which may indicate a hasty escape.
