Enthuses emotional sounds: Concert of the Czech Chamber Philharmonic!
On January 11, 2025, the Gießen congress hall filled with almost 500 music lovers, who were eagerly waiting for an extraordinary concert. Under the direction of conductor Petr Chromczák, the Czech Chamber Philharmonic Prague performed to present a program that included works by Antonio Vivaldi, Joseph Haydn and Georg Friedrich Händel. That evening the visitors experienced an emotional appearance that inspired both musical and interpretative terms.
The concert began with Vivaldi's famous “The Four Seasons”, which was led by Martin Kos, the first violinist. Particularly noteworthy was the gentle and concise dynamics in the first set "Spring", while the "summer" was able to score with stronger colors and an overall reserved version. The "autumn" conveyed happy sounds. The overall sound of the first part was described as flawless and round, which underlined the committed implementation.
a multifaceted concert evening
In the second part of the evening, the Symphony No. 45 by Joseph Haydn, also known as the "farewell information", was on the program. The orchestra was expanded to include sheet metal and woodwinds. The change of mood and the colored realization of the music amazed the audience. Chromczák appealed to the guests not to applaud every sentence in order to maintain the constant atmosphere of the music. The menuett sounded light -footed and in exemplary unity, while the final was soulful and achieved a special effect with a light shutdown before the last sentence.
The crowning glory formed works from Handel's “Water Music” (HWV 348, 349, 350), which were able to captivate by woodwind solos and clear brass sounds. The emotional level of performance and excellent transparency contributed to the fact that the different gaits of the music were visibly worked out. After such an impressive evening, the audience was rewarded with an "Adagio" by Tomaso Albinoni as an encore that was emotionally and flawless and was acknowledged with great applause.
