About the Frankenthal Antiquity Association
The Frankenthal antiquities were founded on October 18, 1892 by citizens of the city. The main purpose of the association is the research of city history and the promotion of consciousness in the population. Regular meetings enable members to present and discuss new knowledge about the history of Frankenthal.
In addition, the association organizes numerous events, including lectures and city tours, to keep the history of the city alive. Another expression of his commitment is the co-edition of the annual issue "Frankenthal once and now" and the purchase of objects for the Erkenbert Museum.
