Success for SC Rhein-Nahe: Glossy performance at Kickbox Championship!
On April 12, 2025, the Rhineland-Palatinate Championship of the Rhineland-Palatinate Kickbox Association (WAKO) took place in Eisenberg (Palatinate). The event started at 11 a.m. after the official scale was survived. On this day, 15 committed athletes from the Rhein-Nahe e.V. sports club competed to show their skills in various disciplines. The participants achieved remarkable successes and brought numerous titles and medals home. As near news it was an overall successful tournament day for SC Rhein-Nahe.
The youngest of the participants already set impressive accents. Artilla Zahn (9 years, Gensingen) won the 1st place in light contact and the 2nd place in the pointfight. His club colleague Enes Adigützel (11 years, Dietersheim) secured the 1st place in the pointfight and finished second in light contact. Orell Herzog (11 years, Ramstein) crowned his performance with the title of the Rhineland-Palatinate master.

The achievements of Leonie Braun (14 years, Bingen) and Marlon Baumgärtner (12 years, Kempten) are particularly noteworthy. Both athletes qualified with their strong ideas for the German championship, where Braun took the 2nd place and tree gardeners also excellently cut off with the 2nd place. Sebastian Sanchez (24 years, Landstuhl) showed his skills in the higher weight class and not only secured the 1st place, but also received a special price for technology.In the adult class, Constantin Zwiegera (16 years, Waldalgesheim) and Kirill Neumann (16 years, Langenlonsheim) fought for the 2nd place. Five young talents successfully competed in the beginner class: Frida Lorson (11 years, Hergenfeld) and Plato Tkachenko (9 years, Langenlonsheim) secured the 1st place, while Leonardo Baldauf (10 years, Langenlonsheim) and Charlotte Maul (9 years, Gau-Algesheim) took 2nd place. Also on the podium was Ellen Reiber (16 years, Stromberg) with 2nd place and Nico Thomas (Münster-Sarmsheim) as third in the beginner class.
strong coaching and team spirit
The Unified Judging Committee, consisting of Laura Beucher, Daniel Jacoby and Caner Demir, ensured that the fights run smoothly. The coaching team, consisting of Dirk Pekrul and Eric Zahn, was very satisfied with the results. Trainer Theresa Pekrul could not be on site due to her national squad training in Cologne, but the team was able to achieve successful results thanks to the excellent preparation.
The positive overall record of the tournament gives the reason for the joy and motivation for future competitions, as well as the Wako Rhineland-Palatinate emphasized. SC Rhein-Nahe has definitely established itself as one of the strong teams in the region.
