Spring festival in Raunheim: Fun, music and culinary art for the whole family!
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Rathausplatz in Raunheim is transformed into a festive arena for the whole family. The spring festival, which takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offers a colorful program for young and old. The organizers promise numerous attractions that make the heart beat faster. Particular attention is paid to the facilities and associations that present themselves on this day.
The Spring Festival organizers have set up an extensive offer. Among other things, the free artist group Raunheim will offer homemade cakes and coffee in the citizens' hall. The children also enjoy a carousel, face painting and many surprises. The festival visitors are spoiled with sausages, fries and exquisite wines from the St. Antonius of Padua.
clubs and market stalls
The Association Tolerance under Nations e.V. (do) will be represented with a wheel of fortune at the spring festival. Here visitors can win prizes and find out more about homemade jams. The association has been selling jam for three years at the weekly market, and in the future also at the spring festival. The products range from plum jam with cinnamon to cherry banana lemon. The jam comes partly from previous year's stocks, but was also freshly boiled. A small flea market will also take place on this day.
The Caritas Center Rüsselsheim St. Georg will offer handmade gift items, accessories and jams, while the Mediathek Raunheim can organize a book flea market with extended opening hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The proceeds are used to purchase new media. A vernissage of an art exhibition will start on May 1st at 5 p.m. in the citizens' hall and the exhibition remains open until May 4th.
musical entertainment and community projects
The band Switch On will provide musical entertainment and offer rock and pop classics. This makes the festival not only a culinary, but also a cultural experience. The connection between the different groups and clubs is central to the organizers and participants, since the community is particularly strengthened by the variety of events.With a high degree of social engagement, the association has implemented tolerance among nations in the past many projects that serve integration. However, these events were many times due to the corona pandemic. Nevertheless, the members remained active and informed, and the association would like to continue to present itself on various platforms to point out its activities and projects.
