Fynn Kratochwil celebrates magnificent start of the season in the Northern Talent Cup!

Last weekend the TT Circuit in Assen was the scene of the season opener of the Northern Talent Cup (NTC). Fynn Kratochwil, a 14-year-old young driver from Mühlhausen in Thuringia, impressively showed his talent and won both races of the event, which took place from April 11th to 13th, 2025. The young racing driver not only secured the pole position, but prevailed in an exciting duel in the first race.

In the first race, Kratochwil won the victory while Anina Urlaß took second place. Thias Wenzel, who originally finished second, was downgraded to third place due to exceeding the route limits. Wenzel showed a strong performance in the second race, but became fourth and missed third place behind only 0.019 seconds. These services underline the high competitiveness in the NTC.

Kratohcwils ambitions for the future

Kratochwil, who visits the eighth class in high school and likes to ride a bike in his free time and goes to the gym, has big goals. After his appearance in the NTC 2025, where he received a wildcard last year and drove onto the podium, he plans to fight either in the Moto3 or Moto2 World Championship in five years. He draws the motivation for his sport out of speed, the struggle for success and the fun of driving.

his idol is the Spanish driver Marc Marquez, whom he admires for his comeback and success. Despite small health problems that occasionally cause knee -up badly, Kratochwil remains focused. After difficult race days, he is looking for a conversation with his trainer and engineers to motivate and develop further. His goal for the current season is clear: he wants to win both in the European Talent Cup and in the Northern Talent Cup, whereby the NTC is particularly important to him.
