challenges in separation and custody
parents who argue about custody, handling and stay of the child often turn to the family court. The family court and the youth welfare office have the task of finding solutions in the best interest of the children. In such procedures, the youth welfare office provides information about the status of the procedure and offers parents advice.
In addition, a specialist of the youth welfare office is hired, which offers an appointment. In order to enable the conflicts to be clarified quickly, a first appointment will be convened at the latest one month after the start of the procedure. The youth welfare office invites both parents to a joint consultation and also contacts the children to evaluate the family situation and help the parents with an extrajudicial agreement.
If no agreement should be reached, the specialist is also involved in the family court at the early appointment, whereby the child's well -being and the responsibility of parent are discussed. The youth welfare office remains the participants as a contact person throughout the procedure. Finally, findings from the advice can be used for judicial proposals to find practical solutions in the best interest of the children, such as Unterstuet-diekommt.de Report.
