The rail infrastructure in the Kinzigtal is currently experiencing significant changes. The expansion of the railway line between Hanau and Gelnhausen gained speed last week and will continue until Friday, May 2. Construction teams and machines are also in Schlüchter station. From January 2024, the main work begins for the four -track expansion of the route between Gelnhausen and Hanau. This will include the dismantling of tracks in the north and south of the Gelnhausen train station.
