Judges on the promotion: Fulda celebrates new lawyers!
Bianca Schickling mengel was promoted to the presiding judge at the Fulda District Court. In a solemn ceremony on March 26, 2025, Dr. Jochen Müller, the outgoing president of the Fulda Regional Court, the certificate of appointment. This promotion is officially recognized by the Hessian Ministry of Justice. Schickling-Mögel takes over the chair of the 4th civil chamber, which specializes in building dachs. Dr. Müller praised her as professionally highly qualified, committed and experienced.
The new presiding judge grew up in Fulda and is the mother of two children. After graduating from high school at the Marienschule, she started her preparation service at the Fulda employment office. She studied law at the Philipps University in Marburg and spent two semesters at the University of Aberdeen as part of the Socrates/Erasmus program. In 2006 she took off her first legal state examination in Marburg.
professional career
According to her legal clerkship in the district of the Frankfurt am Main Regional Court, she completed the second state examination in September 2010 and joined the Hessian judicial service in March 2011. Her first stations were the Schluechtern District Court until December 2011 and the Gelnhausen district court until January 2014. After her parental leave, she moved to the Fulda District Court in December 2014, where it was appointed life in October 2015.
From May 2020, she was Medicinal to the Fulda district court and finally moved. Since January 2021 she has been a judge at the Fulda Regional Court and has worked in various civil chambers and in the execution chamber. From May 2023 to January 2024, she was seconded to the Frankfurt am Main Higher Regional Court. As of January 1, 2025, she as Presidential judge will take on important tasks in the administrative management and represent the chair in the 1st and 5th civil chamber as well as the appeal and complaint.
In a further step, there was a appointment within the regional court: Judge Marie Przybilla was appointed a judge for life. The certificate of appointment was signed by the Hessian Minister of Justice, Eva Kühne-Hörmann, and also by Dr. Jochen Müller presented. Müller described Przybilla as a highly committed and qualified colleague. This appointment is intended to permanently strengthen the personal structure of the Fulda Regional Court.
background and training
Marie Przybilla, 30 years old and also from Fulda, achieved the Abitur at the Domgymnasium Fulda in 2008. She studied law at the Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg and passed her first state examination in 2013. After her legal clerkship at the Fulda district court, she passed the second state examination in October 2015 and entered the service of the Hessian judiciary in March 2016, initially at the Hanau district court. She has been working at the Fulda District Court since October 2017 and is primarily working there.
Both judges represent the high standards and requirements placed on the judge in Hesse. These include above -average legal exams as well as personal characteristics such as commitment, flexibility and the ability to familiarize yourself with new areas of law. The Hessian judiciary also attaches importance to the equality of all employees and promotes applications from people regardless of origin, gender or disability.
