In Frankfurt there are both stationary lightning systems and mobile speed controls. Inpatient speed cameras are installed at the focal points of accidents if structural changes or adjustments to the traffic lights are not sufficient. Mobile checks are based on the main roads and the typical accident locations. Monitoring is intended to improve traffic safety and reduce the number of traffic accidents by consistently punishing striking speed overruns.
