Discover the beauty of the Main-Kinzig district: Take part!

On December 30, 2024, a reader, Reiner Pospischil, shared an impressive photo of his walk between Hailer/Meerholz and Linsengericht. In his contribution, he expresses the wish for 2025 that the beautiful thoughts and wishes of the residents of the Main-Kinzig district may come true. In order to continue to show the beauty of the region, the platform calls on all readers to submit their own photos under the heading "The Main-Kinzig-Kreis". Photo-interested can send their submissions to a specified, protected email address and also share interesting observations in the Main-Kinzig district.

This post is involved in the activities of Kinzig.news, which already evaluated a photo competition in October 2022. The best photos were awarded, with the first place with 100 euros, the second with 75 euros and the third with 50 euros. The competition also offered the winners the opportunity to work freely at Kinzig.news. A six-member jury, consisting of specialists such as the managing director of the media office Fulda and photographer Hendrik Urbin as well as Kinzig.news editor-in-chief Tobias Bayer, selected the winners in different categories.

The winners of the competition were awarded in several categories. In the category "Here I am at home - Schluechtern" Michael Bolender won second place by Heiko Irgel and Reinhard Selle in third place. Sandra Ickstadt won in the category "Your Gelnhausen", while Heiko Irgel again reached second place and Jessica Schmidt took third place. Carmen Waldmann was able to secure the award in the category "This is Hanau", while Kerstin Hähnel and Marvin Holloway took second and third place.

In addition, Roland Haus was named the winner in the "Our most beautiful festival" category, followed by Günther Appich, who has received multiple awards. In the last category "The MKK face" Denise Grillwitzer was the winner, while Roland Haus and Julia Pittana took second and third place.
