On April 26, 2025, the outdoor event "Fulda.mobil.erleben" took place in Fulda, which again attracted thousands of visitors this year. This event, which is now going into the fourth round, was organized in the heart of Fulda city center and offered a wide range of activities related to mobility.
Visitors were able to find out about the latest means of transportation. E-bikes, cargo bikes and classic bicycles were presented in the so-called bike area in Bahnhofstrasse. Abdullah Sahli from Lucky Bike noticed the great enthusiasm of the participants for mobility on two wheels. The status of Busch & Wagner Petersberg also showed motorcycles from the well -known brands BMW and Yamaha.
important statements and opening ceremony
During the official opening ceremony, Haldun Tuncay, Managing Director of the Parzeller media group, was honored. He welcomed numerous guests of honor, including local politicians and business representatives, who together with Mayor Heiko Wingenfeld were at the side of the trade fair visitors. Wingenfeld praised the tradition of the event and was pleased with the positive weather compared to the previous year, which favored the number of visitors.
The fair opened its doors on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., whereby admission was free for all visitors. On Sunday, the city center of Fulda also expects a Sunday open for sales from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., where the shops present current spring trends. In order to make the event even more attractive, numerous hands -on activities such as test drives, health offers as well as movement games and face painting were offered for the young visitors.
Current trends and challenges in electromobility
Mascha Sorg from the Sorg Group emphasized the importance of personal advice at trade fairs, where interested parties can receive valuable information about new cars. However, there were also critical comments: a decline in electric car registrations last year illustrated the existing uncertainty among customers. District Administrator Bernd Woide took this as an opportunity to highlight the responsibility of the public administration in the promotion of sustainable mobility and announced that he would also like to strengthen the variety of mobility offers.
Electromobility remains a promising topic. Many events are closely linked to the area of renewable energies and the automotive industry. Electric cars that are operated with renewable energies are considered environmentally friendly and can contribute to reducing fine dust and exhaust gases in cities, which makes it an important building block against global warming. Further exciting information on electromobility are on Measure
Overall, "Fulda.mobil.erleben" offered a successful platform for the exchange for modern mobility solutions and underlined the relevance of trade fairs in the current time.
