Generous donations for the palliative care unit: 950 euros at the Christmas market!

On December 30, 2024, it became known that the Rhöner Mullweinhütte team handed over a generous donation of 950 euros to the palliative care unit of the Fulda Clinic. This handover was handed over as part of the Fulda Christmas market, where the mulled wine hut has been represented for 40 years. The tips taken during the Christmas market days traditionally flow into charitable purposes. This year, a total of 950 euros came together, which the operators Peter Marx and Kendy Meinecke generously doubled. The entire amount will be given to the association "Help help e.V." donated that supports the palliative care unit. Dr. Sebastian Schiel, director of the Palliative Medicine Center, thanked for the donation.

In addition, Osthessen-news.de reported on further donations in favor of the palliative care unit of the Fulda Clinic. The braving round Petersberg has manufactured specially handmade stars for the Christmas market, whereby the sale of these stars achieved a total of 921 euros. This donation also goes to the support association "Help help e.V.". Gerlinde Lehmann and Edda Ossenbühl were handed over to the donation check, while Adela Pillo represented the donation for Dr. Sebastian Schiel accepted. Palliative psychologist Pillo emphasized the importance of the donation to support the accompaniment of patients in the last phase of life. The funds should be used to make the palliative care unit more homely and create additional offers. Edda Ossenbühl described the support of people in difficult situations as a "matter close to the heart". The Petersberg clapper round has existed since 1986, while the association "Help help e.V." was founded in 2021 to support the palliative care unit by financing additional offers and the creation of a pleasant atmosphere.
