On January 2, 2025, a part -time position for the position of the restorer (m/f/d) will be advertised in the Vonderau Museum in Fulda. Working hours are 19.5 hours per week, whereby a certain time flexibility is required.

The VonDerau Museum is the largest museum between Kassel and Frankfurt, with an exhibition area of ​​4,000 square meters. The collections include areas of art and cultural history as well as city history and natural history. The area of ​​responsibility of the new restorer extends over various facilities, including the city palace, the Fastnachtsmuseum and Villa Franz Erhard Walther.

The museum is currently in a process of restructuring. Planned measures include the creation of a central depot, the move of collection stocks as well as the viewing and post -documentation of objects. The specific tasks include:

  • Planning and coordination of depot parades

In order to be able to be considered for the position, certain technical requirements are required. This includes a completed study of object restoration or preservation as well as knowledge of materials in historical cultural assets. Practical professional experience in the museum or in collection depots is just as necessary as experience with transports and moving from collection goods. In addition, a safe handling of MS Office and databases as well as personal skills such as organizational talent and independence are required.

The payment is made according to pay group 9b TVöD.
