On August 2, 2025, the staging "As in Heaven" by Kay Pollak will be performed in the Bad Hersfeld Abbey Ruin. The performance begins at 3 p.m. and tells the moving history of conductor Daniel Daréus, who returns to his Swedish home village after a heart attack to conduct the church choir there. A central theme of the piece is the meaning of music and important liveable value.

Before the performance, there is an introduction at 2 p.m. The ticket prices for the event are staggered as follows: For adults, the tickets cost 65 euros (for members, including trip) and 75 euros for non -members. Pupils and students receive their tickets for 60 euros (including a journey).

The staging has already been honored with several awards, including the large Hersfeld Prize 2024 for Helena Charlotte Sigal and Henry Arnold and the Hersfeld Prize 2024 for the choir in Joern Hinkels staging. A special discount offer includes 10 % discount on non-reduced cards until December 31, 2024, except for family and final gala.
