Sport & Show 2025: A 50th anniversary full of highlights!

On January 17, 2025, the Göbels Hotel Arena in Rotenburg will be the venue for the renowned event "Sport & Show". This traditional show, which is now celebrating its 50th anniversary, promises a spectacle of top sporting performance, dance, acrobatics and comedy. The first appointment begins at 8 p.m., followed by further performances on Saturday at 2 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. The evening health insurance companies open one hour before the demonstrations.

"Sport & Show" was originally launched in the Ransbach district of Hohenroda and has continued to develop steadily over the decades. Hans Hantke, who is the initiator of this event, regretted the cancellation of two shows due to the coronapandemic and is still looking forward to the coming performances. Hantke received support from several institutions, including the Hersfelder Zeitung and the municipality of Hohenroda.
