Employees cheer: six honors and numerous farewells!

On January 28, 2025, a total of twelve employees were honored and adopted in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district for their many years of work in the district administration. District Administrator Torsten Warnecke and the first district deputy Dirk Noll recognized the commitment of the employees and their valuable contribution to public administration.

The ceremony included the honor of employees for 25 and 40 years of service that worked in different specialist services. Both the jubilees and the outgoing employees were warmly honored.

As part of the celebrations, several employees were awarded for their 25- and 40-year service anniversaries. Christoph Knies found himself among the honored, who celebrated his anniversary on October 1, 2024. Knies, who started training as an administrative assistant in 2000, has been working in the Migration SGB II specialist service since 2016. Grit Riesner and Dirk Sandlos also received recognition for their 25 years of service, which they had done in various specialist services. Riesner works in the specialist service of rural areas, while Sandlos works in the specialist service.

In the category of 40-year anniversaries, Gunter Ellenberger and Heidrun Bräuer were honored. Ellenberger, who has been working in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district since 1990, has headed the organization and personnel specialist service since 2005. Heidrun Bräuer has worked in various functions within the administration and has been active in rural areas since 2021.

farewell to retire

In addition to the jubilees, six employees were retired. Anna Kwant, who left the service in September 2024, was a tailor in Kyrgyz's tenth before her work as a cleaner. Siegfried Linß, who has been in the road traffic since 1991, and Dieter Degenhardt, who left on December 31, 2024, were other long -time employees whose retirement regretted the administration. Degenhardt originally came to the circle as a draftsman and most recently worked in the schools and buildings.

The farewells were accompanied by appreciation and thanks for the services they have been. In particular, the continuous work in the respective specialist services was emphasized, since many of the employees gained valuable experience in various positions over the years.

The employees who celebrated their service anniversary receive anniversary allowance in accordance with the regulations of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD). The anniversary allowance is 350 euros for 25 years of service, and 40 years of service are rewarded with 500 euros. In addition to the financial bonus, the employees are also entitled to a day of special leaving. Change within the public service is taken into account.
