In the heart of Kassel, the cultural bunker opened a new rehearsal room called "Rehenraum 130". This 13 square meter room is specially designed for musicians and can be rented by the hour. The flexible booking options are ideal for everyone who fails at home on noise pollution or lack of space. Here, up to six people can rehearse without having to bring their own instruments. The sample room is equipped with a variety of instruments and technical aids, including a drum, an electric piano, as well as guitar amplifiers and a vocal system.

The equipment also includes a mixer as well as several note stands and folding chairs that support the rehearsal work. Danny Bonke, an aspiring drummer, uses the new room once or twice a week. As part of the implementation of the idea for the rehearsal room, which took about one year, technical adjustments were also made, such as the introduction of an online booking system and a modern locking system.

The use of the rehearsal space is available for musicians of all kinds and costs eight euros per hour. If you book longer, the price is reduced to up to six euros per hour. The room is open between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, which enables flexible practice times.
