The Autobahn GmbH warns of considerable traffic disruptions around Kassel. From Friday evening, May 9, 2025, at 6 p.m., comprehensive construction work on the A7 at the Kassel-Ost junction begins. These measures are necessary to repair road damage and to ensure the safety of road users.
The work includes the blocking of the ride-on and departure in Kassel-Ost. These closures apply until Monday, May 12th, at 5 a.m. In addition, the junction will be closed again on a second weekend, from May 16 to 19. In the first phase of the construction work, a concrete protection wall over a length of around 380 meters is broken down. The subsequent weekend will be all about assembly of new protection planks.
