look into the future

The concept "Safe Wiesbaden", which was developed in 2018 on the basis of a 10-point measures plan, forms the basis for the ongoing security strategies in the city. The state government has increasingly focused on security in the city centers after pandemic. Wiesbaden is one of 14 cities that benefit from the inner city offensive, among the other Darmstadt, Frankfurt, and Kassel.

Although the frequency of crime in Wiesbaden, around 7,200 in 2024, lies above the Hessian average of around 6,050, the state government is optimistic that the measures taken will further reduce crime in the city. The results of the current inner city offensive are evaluated and serve as the basis for future measures.
