Six -year -old Pawlos is missing: Police intensified search!

on March 29, 2025, the fifth day of intensive search, the six -year -old Pawlos from Weilburg in Hesse remains missing. So far, the police have not received any new indications of the boy's whereabouts. According to a spokesman for the Wiesbaden police headquarters, the search measures will continue a day, while the emergency services remain active at night. More than 600 emergency services, including the Limburg-Weilburg police department, fire brigade and the technical relief organization (THW), have been mobilized to find the boy.

Pawlos, who is autistic, ran away on Tuesday, March 25th, for no apparent reason from his special school in Weilburg. Only a minute after his disappearance did the school notice his lack, whereupon an internal search began. Police and parents were informed about 15 minutes later. Grab dogs followed his last known track to the small train station near the Lahn. A passer -by reported a last view of a last sight just a few hundred meters from school. The police are pursuing every hint and currently also evaluating video recordings that may show the boy.

special challenges in search

The situation is particularly difficult because Pawlos is not oriented spatially due to its autism assessment and is very terrible. Experts like the special teacher Sarah Weber emphasize that autistic children perceive stimuli differently and are often very tense. Loud calls should be avoided when searching; Instead, the police play portraits of Pawlos' mother and special music to awaken his attention. In addition, colorful balloons were placed in the search area to attract Pawlos from a hiding place.

The police also maintained a nationwide search for the boy because one assumes a living finding. A recently appeared video that a child shows on a busy street could possibly show Pawlos. The police think it is "very likely" that this video was recorded on the day of its disappearance. So far, however, there is no confirmation that the boy depicted is Pawlos.

special measures and calls for help

The police search measures are comprehensive and include the use of divers, a rider relay, rescue dogs and a police helicopter. Despite these efforts, there has been no specific indications of Pawlos' whereabouts. The family of the missing child is intensively looked after by contact officers in order to provide emotional support. In the meantime, loudspeaker announcements were played by the mother via a fire engine to move Pawlos to return.

Due to Pawlos' special needs, there are additional worrying aspects when searching. Experts warn that Pawlos could be disoriented in the unusual situation and could withdraw to calm places. Therefore, the police asks the population for special attention and to report every hint of the Limburg criminal police on 06431/91400 or the closest police station.

The search for Pawlos remains an urgently required undertaking, and the community is called to be attentive and help where it is possible. Every hint could be crucial to find the missing child and to relieve his family as quickly as possible.
