Six -year -old Pawlos from Weilburg misses - police asks for help!
The six -year -old Pawlos from Weilburg in Hesse has been missing since March 25, 2025. It is autistic and, as the police report, not oriented in spatial terms. During a lesson, the boy suddenly fled from his classroom.
The police searches are comprehensively created and uses almost 450 emergency services. These are looking for in and around Weilburg, and the use also includes diving teams, helicopters and dog relays. The mayor of Weilburg, Johannes Hanisch, and Hesse's Prime Minister Boris Rhein praised the emergency services for their tireless efforts and asked the population to be attentive.
Investigations and information
On March 28, a video was evaluated that shows "with a very high probability" Pawlos. In this video, a strange man appeals to the boy. The police have already contacted the man to get more information.
Numerous information from the population that are located in a three -digit range was collected. Pawlos was last seen at the train station. Although the police do not exclude a crime, there are currently no specific indications.
special challenges in search
pawlos' autism brings special challenges when searching. The special educator Sarah Weber explains that autistic children are often tense in unknown situations and perceive stimuli differently. The handling of Pawlos should therefore be designed sensitively. Loud calls could scare him and lead him to withdraw even further.
To attract Pawlos, the emergency services hung colorful balloons in Weilburg. Police cars play sound recordings from his mother, who are supposed to attract him. In addition, music that Pawlos is familiar with could help find it. The police strongly recommend that Pawlos have a view of the emergency call 110 or contact the next police station.
avoid dangerous situations
Another aspect that the police take into account are waters in the area. Many autistic children have a preference for water, which is why the emergency services are particularly careful here. Sarah Weber warns that it can be dangerous if Pawlos is near water because he could feel disoriented in the unusual situation and is inclined to withdraw to calm places.
The search for Pawlos remains intense and the hope of getting it back safely is still strong. The community of Weilburg is together to cope with this tragic case and to provide any possible support.
