Power failure in Wächtersbach: 25,000 households affected!

In the afternoon of January 7, 2025, there was a power failure in Wächtersbach and the surrounding communities that lasted about seven minutes. Previously, parts of Aschaffenburg and Gailbach had already been affected. The exact cause of the failure is still unclear, but it is believed that strong wind could have thrown a tree on a power line. The power supply could be restored within a few minutes and no major damage was reported.
