Every year, the Main-Kinzig-Kreis honors together with the Main-Kinzig athletes' sports district who have achieved outstanding achievements in official master classes of the Olympic disciplines or in non-Olympic sports. This year, 100 athletes, including world champions, Olympic participants and EM medalists, were in the spotlight.
District Administrator Thorsten Stolz opened the event with a speech in which he emphasized the importance of sports clubs for social life.
