U12 hall tournament in Fulda: The Champions Cup is coming!

On January 12, 2025, a U12 hall tournament will take place in the Gellingshalle in Fulda, which is organized by SG Baroque city. The start of the tournament is at 11 a.m., while the final is scheduled for 5:26 p.m. This tournament is called "Champions Cup" and is being organized for the first time for U12 teams. Florian Wotzlaw, coach of the D2 juniors, leads the small selection of tournaments in the region as the reason for the event.

The field of participants was initially expanded from eight to ten teams, as all the teams requested agreed. In addition to three teams of SG Baroque city, the participating teams also include Eintracht Frankfurt, FSV Mainz 05, Darmstadt 98, Hesse Kassel, KSV Baunatal, SG Bruchköbel and Viktoria Aschaffenburg. The tournament format provides for two groups of four, followed by a knockout phase from the quarter-finals. Admission to this event is free.
