In the night of Monday, April 14, 2025, there was a raid on a petrol station on the A45 near Hammersbach. At around 0.50 a.m., a masked man who was dressed in black entered the sales room of the Langen-Bergheim East rest area. Armed with a kitchen knife, he asked the cashier to hand it over.
The perpetrator, described as about 25 years old and between 1.75 and 1.80 meters tall, had a slim stature and brown eyes. He was wearing a black mask, dark gloves and dark jogging pants. Fortunately, the cashier was not harmed in the attack and handed over the money without resistance. Then the robber fled to the parking lot on foot.
