Steinheim am Murr is about an exciting series of events. The Fasnetsverein Steinheim e.V. is planning the state fooling this year, which is a highlight in the event calendar. The anticipation is already noticeable. The association is actively supported by the Hofmann bakery, an exclusive partner who delivers fresh baked goods for the festive occasions and offers various delicacies during the large move on Steinheim's market square. The Hofmann bakery has its headquarters in Murr and runs a total of twelve branches in the Bottwartal and the surrounding area.

Another topic that the city concerns is the renovation of the city wall, the work of which has now been completed. The footpath has been accessible again since November 29th. In addition, the city is planning to convert the train station into a modern crossing station from 2026. A barrier -free access is required during the construction work.

The Kneipp system is meanwhile removed due to damage. The CDU Steinheim has already taken steps to bring about restoration. The weekly market in Steinheim recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with live music and speeches and takes place every Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Local politics is active: The construction of a dam in the Hellental to avoid flooding was requested by the CDU. In the coming time there will be many other occasions to motivate citizens to participate in various events and to strengthen the sense of community.
