Sniff recorder: Nidderaus Musikverein invites you!

The wind orchestra Nidderau e.V. invites you to a recorder afternoon on Thursday, January 30th and on Saturday, February 1st. The event takes place in the yellow Bonhaus, the clubhouse in the field behind the blue house in Winecken, near the train station. This afternoon event offers interested parties a first insight into club life and recorder lessons.

The event is particularly suitable for children with previous knowledge on the recorder that are very welcome. In addition to the trial lessons, the bonkinders will present their skills. In addition, a new course will begin in March, which is led by Annette Schöpke and Julia Staubach on Thursdays.

versatile offers and commitment

The wind orchestra Nidderau e.V. (Bon) has set itself the goal of inspiring people of all ages for music. In addition, the association offers music from various epochs and styles that range from classic brass music to modern pop music. The promotion of young talent is also very important, which is why various recorder groups and two student orchestras exist, which work in cooperation with the Musikschule Nidderau - Schöneck - Niederdorfelden.

The committed youth committee also organizes numerous activities outside of music. Examples of events are visits to the "Lochmühle" adventure park during the summer vacation or a Halloween cinema overnight stay in autumn. These non -musical activities contribute to strengthening the sense of community and promote friendships among young people, which consolidates the bond with the association.

community and rehearsals

in the Bonhaus, which has been serving as a self -made clubhouse since 2003, meet over 190 members who represent various orchestras and groups. This includes the bon musicians who specialize in Egerländer music, as well as the Bonbrass group brass group. Once a year, a large annual concert takes place in spring, which presents the results of the rehearsal work of the numerous orchestras. The main rehearsal day is Thursday, on which the various youth orchestras also rehearse.

Potential new musicians, whether brass, woodwinds, or drummer, are always welcome in the Nidderau wind orchestra. The creation of "sponsors" to support new members can ensure intensive integration and easier start. An information folder for newcomers also ensures that important information about the association is available directly.
