Hesse's municipalities celebrate records: trade taxes rise to 7.58 billion!
Hessian municipalities achieved a record in the income from trade tax in 2024. A total of 7.58 billion euros were earned, which corresponds to an increase of almost 200 million euros or 2.7 percent compared to the previous year, as FRON. The city of Frankfurt am Main has contributed significantly to the total amount with 3.08 billion euros and thus generates 40 percent of the total trade tax revenue in Hesse.
