Fight against exam fear: New training program for children starts!
VITOS Marburg plans to start a training program for children and young people next March 2025 who suffer from exam anxiety. This program is aimed at young people who have to struggle with stress and fears, especially before class work. Exam anxiety can express itself through various symptoms, including head or abdominal pain, sleep problems, blackouts during the examination and difficulties of concentration.
The training program includes a variety of content that should help the participants to manage their fears. This includes reassuring strategies before exams, the child -friendly learning of a structured relaxation procedure as well as exercises for self -instructing and self -awareness. In order to be able to participate in the training, the diagnosis of the examination fears should ideally take place before the measures begin. These diagnoses can be placed in the outpatient clinic of the Vitos children's and youth clinic or with resident doctors and school psychologists.
Important information about the training program
- program start: March 2025
- target group: children and adolescents up to 18 years

The program offers support for affected children and adolescents in order to better manage their exam anxiety, relax and recognize their own strengths. This is particularly important because exam anxiety is widespread and often leads to considerable stress. As the Vitos Children's and Youth Clinic for Mental Health Marburg reports, well-founded diagnostics can also help to find the best ways to support the young people.
