The Fire Brigade Offenbach had their hands full on New Year's Eve 2025. Between midnight and 5 a.m. 18 fires and 33 rescue operations were recorded. A fire was particularly serious on the 11th floor of a high -rise building on the Odenwaldring, in which a resident was slightly injured.

A balcony fire, probably caused by a fireworks rocket, broke out around 0:15 a.m. and led to considerable damage. At night, numerous emergency calls were also accepted for the emergency services, in which 33 ambulance had to be alerted.
