New construction area in Trulben: local council awards planning mandate!

A new development area is planned in the local community of Trulben, which was decided in the recent meeting of the local council. The need for building land in Trulben has been known for a long time. The first steps to designate a construction area were initiated in October 2021, but due to other projects, the project was repeatedly put up. Now the municipal council has awarded the planning services to the engineering office Argus Concept GmbH from Homburg, which has made the cheapest offer. The area "Auf der Schwang", which was considered to open up about 50 years ago, has an area of 3.7 hectares and is shown as a residential area in the land use plan of the Pirmasens-Land association.

Around 20 years ago, a development plan procedure was initiated under the then mayor Gerhard Stöß, but this procedure remained unfinished. The reason for this was the operating license of a company for night work on the neighboring former Salamander site. The current mayor Harald Hatzfeld confirmed that this operating license no longer exists, which paves the way for the implementation of the construction project.

planning details

A total of five offers for the development plan services were submitted, the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive offer was around 20,000 euros. The mandate, which was placed to the engineering office, includes the basic services of the development plan procedure, an environmental report including privacy law preliminary examination as well as the preparation and participation of the competent authorities. In the approved double budget 2024/25, a total of 50,000 euros are planned for the creation of the development plan.

local infrastructure and fire brigade

The infrastructure in trulos not only includes new construction projects, but also the fire brigade, which has been housed in the newly built fire station since 1997. This two -storey building offers space for the vehicle hall on the ground floor with three stands as well as various rooms such as workshops and toilets. The team room and tea kitchen are located on the upper floor. There are a total of 22 active members in the fire brigade and six young people in the youth fire brigade. The construction area created will not only satisfy the living space requirement, but also bring positive impulses for the entire community.
