In the school system, the mediation of values, tolerance and democracy education is extended to all 810,000 students in the country. 2,100 intensive classes have been set up for over 36,000 refugees and immigrant children and adolescents. Another highlight of the year is the Hessentag, which takes place from June 13th to 22nd, 2025 in Bad Vilbel under the motto "Culture - Nature - Water". During the public, further information about the planned changes in public transport and the introduction of a uniform ticket price for the use of local public transport all over Germany, the DPolg Hessen demanded that the LandesTicket is also considered a 49-euro ticket, as the DPolG Hessen explains in a message. However, the state ticket is currently not considered such and only entitles you to use the public transport in Hesse.
