The 466 pages include contributions from over nine authors and include both local and regional history issues. Significant topics are, for example, the development of the Remigiuskirche, the early modern witch hunt and the Jewish cemeteries in Hesse, which together with numerous illustrations present regional -historical research.

These anniversary volumes, which look back on over 50 years of research, also count contributions from renowned authors and offer an insight into the development of regional language change in Büdingen. The aim of the Büdingen history sheets remains the presentation of current research on the history of the city and its surroundings.
