The biggest Fastnacht in Hesse: Helau Again inspires Altenstadt!
The preparations for the "Meinzer Fastnacht" on February 8th in Altenstadt are in full swing. The Frankfurter Neue Presse reports that Boris Meinzer has launched a special hall bet to mobilize the 25 municipalities of the Wetteraukreis. He calls on each community to send at least one representative for the event. This year's motto "Helau Again" promises to become an atmospheric event.
The "Meinzer Fastnacht" has established itself as one of the largest single carnival sessions in Hesse in recent years, each with around 1,000 visitors at the events in the past two years. The total proceeds of this festival have already reached over 30,000 euros, which are particularly beneficial to the daycare centers and schools in Altenstadt. Over 100 helpers, including members of clubs, daycare centers and schools, support the organization of the event.
event location and program
The Altenstadthalle, a popular event location in Hesse, offers the ideal backdrop for the Fastnacht. With a capacity for up to 1000 people and a spacious stage area, it is ideal for large performances. The hall is 1,265 m² and offers space for up to 250 tables, which makes it ideal for concerts, performances and celebrations, such as Reservix reported.
The program of the Fastnacht promises top -class. Top act is the NDW star Markus, known from the hit "I go gas, I want fun". In addition, the groups "Afterhour Eierbagge", Fabio Gandolfo, Partymann Atze and two surprise guests will appear. The men's ballet of the Altenstadt fire brigade will also do its best to entertain the visitors.
special betting conditions
Another highlight of the event is Boris Meinzer's bet: If the municipalities are not able to present himself together, he has agreed to cycle 120 kilometers through the Wetterau in the summer - and that in a clown costume. This campaign is intended to offer additional incentive to mobilize as many visitors as possible.
The tickets for the Fastnacht are still available. The advance booking price is 19.90 euros, while the box office costs 25 euros. The Altenstadthalle is easy to reach, with parking facilities in the area and a footpath of about 10 minutes to the next train station.
The "Meinzer Fastnacht" awaits a colorful mix of entertainment, community and a touch of competition. It remains to be seen how many municipalities will follow Boris Meinz's call and whether everyone can be represented. The event definitely promises to become an unforgettable experience and could again provide a lot of joy and laughter.
