Hope in Lila: Mülheim artist presents new series of work

The Mülheim artist Manfred Dahmen with his new series of work "Hope" presents an impressive deal with the topic of hope. This exhibition, which can now be seen in the Ruhrgallery in the Villa Artis in Mülheim an der Ruhr, consists of a total of ten works. Each work shows the fragile aspects of hope and uses the color purple which symbols for transformation, spirituality and hope bears. Manfred Dahmen, who born in Düsseldorf and grew up in Cologne, has moved his sphere of activity to Mülheim an der Ruhr, where he has been active since 2014. His first exhibition in this city took place on August 23, 2014 in the gallery on the Ruhr. He has probably further developed his style and combined in his work the experimentation with canvas and colors to illuminate deeper topics such as the history of creation, transience and esoteric questions. Dahmen also founded the "Office for Continuing Fantilation", a platform that gives him the opportunity to pursue his ideas and concepts. In the past, Dahmen has already opened a studio in the artist mile of Mülheim during the "Open Ateliers in Mülheim", where he gave insights into his work.
