Young badminton talents conquer medals at the Weseler tournament!

On Sunday, March 17, 2025, the E-/D-C-RLT NRW-35 Weseler Nispa teen tournament for the age groups U09 to U15 took place in Wesel. The talents of the TSV Heimaterde were extremely successful at this event and presented impressive performance in the different categories. The offspring achieved a total of four gold medals and several silver and bronze prices- a truly successful day for the club.

The gold medals that were won by the following athletes are particularly important:

  • Sanavi Sumit Karkamkar -Me U9 B-field: She won with impressive results, including a clear 11-4 and 11-1 win against Alina Willmann from TV Refrath.
  • Timo Rühl -11 B field each: After two wins in the group phase, he also prevailed in the semi-finals and in the final.
  • Lina Hoffmann -Me U11 B-field: She too was able to prevail in her category and won after two victories in the group phase and an exciting finale.
  • Lotte Rieger -Me U13 B-Feld: Her strong performance secured her first place in this age group.

  • til Kirchbach -Je U13 A-Feld: He made it to the final, but had to give up there.
