Carnival wedding in Materborn: Prefalling session inspires fools!

On Saturday evening, February 2, 2025, the Materborn multi -purpose hall experienced a magnificent and happy spectacle: the splendid session of the Fidelitas. Numerous carnival enthusiasts celebrated there in festive red and white decoration. The moderators Shari Müller and Natalie Göcking led through the evening, while the Spielmannszug made musical sounds sounded from a distance.

The reception of the Elfer Council and its entourage, which was accompanied by a warm "Helau" of those present, was particularly impressive. The first highlight of the evening was the move of the guard and 911 members, who found the crowning glory with the popular "Fidelitas Lied". A noticeable community spirit penetrated the hall, which underlined the importance of this carnival event for the Materborn community.

The Elferrat as the heart of the session

The Elferrat, a central unit within Fidelitas, plays an important role in the organization and implementation of the splendor meeting. This group combines different facets of the beauty of the man and is known for their physicality, their good appearance, their intelligence and their abstinence. This year, the members of the Elferrat can look forward to new young people who continues the tradition and brings a breath of fresh air to the ranks.

This important group not only supports the splendor meeting, the assembly and dismantling is also in your hands. Monthly meetings in the Ratskrug in Materborn serve to discuss work, while the exchange is promoted to maintain physical fitness on joint bike tours. The members are willing to take hardships to make the club life alive, which has shaped the communities in the carnival.

The carnival is a firmly rooted cultural element in many regions of Germany.
