Cologne-Wahn: New swimming day care center should save non-swimmers!

In Cologne-Wahn, a new pilot project is launched in order to counteract the increasing numbers of non-swimmers. The establishment of a swimming daycare center is intended to promote early childhood habituation and strengthen the motor skills of the children. As Swimsportnews reports, the daycare center is created in the immediate vicinity of Cologne's delusional pool, which offers direct access to the in-house swimming pool.

This innovative concept provides for special water times for the daycare children who include regular swimming lessons and various water activities. The building application for the project has already been approved and the construction start is scheduled for the end of 2025. The opening of the swimming daycare center is sought for summer 2027.
