The decision on the controversial east-west axis in Cologne is out again. Originally scheduled for today, February 13, 2025, the special meeting of the Transport Committee was canceled at short notice, and there was no agreement at the planned Council meeting in the afternoon. The project, which is considered the largest Cologne traffic project of the 2020s, continues. The planned route should run between Deutz and Aachener Weiher and operated underground and on their own network.
