In the night from Saturday to Sunday, March 2, 2025, an incident occurred during a carnival event in Bliesengen-Bolchen, Mandelbachtal, who called the police on the scene. A 33-year-old man was beaten at the back of the head by a stranger around 1:30 a.m. and suffered minor injuries. The reasons for aggression are currently still unclear.
