The association martial arts church has opposed environmental pollution in its own way. It is now officially corken collection point of the nature conservation association Germany (NABU). The NABU cork campaign is successfully implemented by operating over 1,100 collection points in almost all federal states, mainly in northern Germany. Since the start of the campaign in 1994, over 500 tons of cork have been collected, which corresponds to around 3,500 cubic meters or about 125 million units.

The goal of the NABU cork campaign is to recycle a large part of the 1.2 billion bottle cork in Germany. At the moment, only a tenth of the collected cork is being recycled, which makes it clear that there is still a lot of space for improvements. If the entire cork could be collected and recycled in Germany, it would even be about 32,000 cubic meters of insulation granulate for building the house.
