Culture and sport in focus: Lutra brings a breath of fresh air to Kaiserslautern!

On April 7, 2025, the city of Kaiserslautern released the 27th edition of the Lutra cultural magazine. This edition is dedicated to the exciting relationship between culture and sport. The magazine can be ordered at both known consulting offices and free of charge by subscription at kultur@kaiserslautern.de . The connection between art and sport is discussed in a conversation with the Palatinate Theater, while an interview with the cellist and marathon runner Josef Dragus shows romantic links between the run and the game of the cello.

The edition also brings up the discussion about the cultural dimension of sport in the university environment and the unisport of the RPTU. Another interesting aspect is the exchange with the football club FCK, which offers insight into the analogies and differences between theater and football.
