Collecting garbage for a clean place: children and helpers tackle!
On April 6, 2025, numerous volunteers came together in Mittelbach-Hengstbach to actively act against environmental pollution. Over 60 participants, including a third of children, actively grabs with warning vests, grabbits, gloves and garbage bags. The garbage collection campaign started at the village community center in Mittelbach and ended in the village community center Hengstbach, where the hard -working helpers were served "Hooorische with Specksoss" at the end. Numerous waste was collected, including tires, pipes, empty glass bottles, cigarette packages and plastic films. Special unique pieces such as a complete porcelain toilet bowl and a subwoofer were also under the finds.
Members of the fishing club also accepted the water and bank to make an important contribution to nature conservation. The garbage collected is brought to environmental and service operations, where it is used. This commitment shows how important the information about the correct disposal methods is, and contributes to the realization of consciousness regarding waste avoidance.

The campaign divided into two parts: cleaning took place in Wiegersen on Saturday, while the rest of the villages followed on Sunday. Equipped with materials such as gloves, gripping tongs and garbage bags, the participants set out to clean road edges, forest and dirt roads. In the end, numerous plumed garbage bags that clarified the success of the campaign were shown. For the helpers there was a meal with food and drinks on the tool sheds, while thanks to the committed helpers as well as farmers and hobby tractors.
