Night of the museums: Gypsy jazz and beer enjoyment in Düsseldorf's Maxhaus!

On April 26, 2025, the Maxhaus in Düsseldorf became a cultural hub as part of the “Night of Museums”. Elisabeth Beckmann, program officer in the Maxhaus, emphasizes that participation in this event is an important moment for the house to present itself to the city population. It is particularly noteworthy that many people in Beckmann's environment have not yet known the Maxhaus. In this sense, the house wants to increase its own visibility and attract visitors.

The event promises a varied program with music, tours and a beer test. The musical highlight takes place in the Klosterhof, where the exceptionally Sandro Roy appears. Together with the renowned jazz guitarist Paulo Morello, he will present a fusion of Gypsy and jazz. Roy is known for its combination of classic virtuosity and jazz improvisation. Morello, one of the leading jazz guitarists in Europe, brazilian rhythms into the melodies. This creates an unforgettable concert experience that breaks the genre boundaries.
