In the Ebertpark of Ludwigshafen, an exciting realignment of the traditional tower restaurant is emerging. GENNG Gastronomie & Event GmbH Ludwigshafen has secured the lease of the restaurant and would like to bring a fresh wind to the gastronomy there with a completely new concept. This step takes place according to the 9-year commitment of Anatol Elert, who asked for a resolution contract by the end of the year. Elert plans to realize a new gastronomic concept in Landau.

The tower restaurant, which is based on Baroque architecture, looks back on a long tradition and was extensively renovated a few years ago. With a total area of ​​1200 square meters, it is located in the middle of the Ebertpark, an inner -city local recreation area that extends over 29 hectares. The park offers a variety of leisure facilities, including extensive meadows, various gardens and a picturesque parking pond.

Die GEG Gastronomie & Event GmbH plans to position the tower restaurant as a flexible venue for different occasions. First and foremost, the new concept includes a classic restaurant and a bistro with simple but tasty dishes. In addition, a vinotheque and shop will be available that offers exquisite wines.

A bar will be set up on the gallery of the restaurant, which is supposed to act as a coffee shop during the day and create an inviting place for coffee enjoyments. Families and groups who are planning a celebration can take advantage of high -quality premises for birthday parties, weddings and company events. Ratzlaff, one of the managing directors of the MD Medicus group of companies, emphasizes that the concept should be affordable and appealing for different target groups, especially families.

The new subtenant also wants to use the outer areas of the restaurant more. A parking kiosk is planned to see that visitors to the park are also well cared for outdoors. The GAG, which the tower restaurant renovated in 2010 for four million euros, hopes not only to delight the guests with this realignment, but also to enrich the gastronomic offer in the Ebertpark as a whole.

The reopening of the tower restaurant is planned for April 2024. The new concept aims to address both existing and new guests.
